Restriction of email sender domain

From July 13th, 2020, smtp.m.kyushu-u.ac.jp only permits sender addresses using subdomains of kyushu-u.ac.jp or kyudai.jp for enhanced security.

Other sender addresses will be rejected. This restriction intends to prevent sending malicious messages resulted from account abuse.

If you want to send messages from an email address outside Kyushu University, change the settings of your email application to using the corresponding external email server.
