Webex
Information Infrastructure Initiative provides Webex, a web meeting service with encryption that can be used when handling confidential information.
Use Requirement
Please make sure to read the following usage requirements before using “Webex”.
Use Procedure
A “Webex” account is only required for hosting online meetings. It is not necessary to have an account for joining meetings. If you wish to obtain a new account, please apply for one at each administrative department (each Division of Administration Bureau or Administrative Office). The number of licenses is limited, so please carefully assess the necessity before submitting your request.

The meeting hosting feature of ‘Webex’ is available only to the organizers who have registered an account.
（* Participants are not required to register for an account.） -
Please note that the number of “Webex” accounts is limited, so please be aware of the following points.
- Basically, it should be used when handling confidential information.
- If a meeting is not hosted for more than 6 months, the account will be disqualified from using the service.

The maximum number of participants in Webex Meetings with encrypted communication enabled is 200.
