Alternate Phone Number Registration

The Microsoft 365 standard MFA information registration page requires MFA for access once you have registered MFA information. When you cannot respond to an MFA request, you will not be able to resolve the sign-in problem on your own. Also, the page does not allow you to register a remote phone as you will receive an on-the-spot confirmation call when you register a phone number. If you register only a landline at work and go home, you will not be able to sign in to Microsoft 365 because you will not be able to answer your work phone at home. If this occurs, you can register additional phone numbers on the following page without signing in to Microsoft 365.

There is no phone number confirmation by the callback, so please be sure to enter the correct phone number. Also, please use the Microsoft 365 standard MFA information registration page to register your phone number for the first time, or modify/delete the registered phone number.

  • Off-campus access requires the matrix password on your IC staff card (QMAX).
